The rapid transfer of both electrons and ions is vital when using graphene as a charge regulator in high-performance lithium batteries (LIBs). The structural design and interfacial modification strategies of graphene to regulate the charge transport, as well as the structureperformance relationships between the structure of the graphene and its dedicated applications for LIBs are clarified in detail.

The ultrathin BP nanosheets are protected via a variety of methods (physical and chemical routes), which can significantly improve the stability and electrical/photoelectronic properties. From the passivation mechanism, how to reduce the surface chemical active (the lone pair electrons of P atoms) is an urgent issue.

Nanomaterial-based antibacterial strategies combining with antibacterial polymers, stimuli-triggered antibiotics delivery systems, anti-virulence therapy, photothermal/photodynamic therapy, or enzymatically promoting bacterial killing approaches, for overcoming multidrugresistant planktonic bacteria and recalcitrant biofilm. Nanomaterialbased treatment strategies, as effective next generation antimicrobials, offer a promising alternative to antibiotics for difficult-to-treat infections, alleviating challenges faced in the post-antibiotic era.

To better address the challenge during oral delivery, polymer-lipid complex nanoparticles are being explored and developed to merge the beneficial features and compensate the shortcomings of lipidbased and polymer-based nanoparticles. While the lipidic component increases the loading efficiency and compatibility of encapsulated cargos (especially hydrophobic cargos) in digestion system, the polymer part helps to improve the stability and permeation of the whole system.

Single atom Mn sites on highly uniform nitrogen-doped carbon nanotubes were fabricated via a facile in-situ solid-diffusion from core MnO2 nanowires to shell ZIF-8. The coordination structure of the Mn sites was controlled from low N coodination number to high N coodination number by NH3 recovery.
