Single-crystalline metal-organic framework (MOF) twin-like nanobricks are fabricated via a selftemplated process, which mainly includes selective epitaxial growth of Fe-rich MOF layer and simultaneously dissolution of the pre-formed sandwich layers of Ni-rich metal-organic frameworks (MOFs). The relevant integrated electrode exhibits outstanding electrochemical performance for water oxidation. Interestingly, the NiFe-MOFs based pre-catalysts can be topochemically regulated into porous and low-crystalline NiFeOx structures during water oxidation.

A multiscale structural engineering strategy was employed to construct defective C3N4 spheres with improved optoelectronic properties and photocatalytic performance. The resultant product shows a remarkable H2O2 production rate and excellent photostability, yielding a high H2O2 concentration of > 45 mM after long-term irradiation.

The etching-PtNiCu nanowires (e-PtNiCu NWs) enclosed by both (110) and (100) facets evolving from PtNiCu nanowires (PtNiCu NWs) mainly with (111) facets have been fabricated by wet-chemical strategy and acid etching process. The e-PtNiCu NWs exhibited significantly enhancement catalytic activity, anti-poisoning ability of CO intermediates, and stability towards the electro-oxidation reaction of ethanol, which can be ascribed to the synergistic effect between (110) and (100) facets.
