Absorption amplification has been realized utilizing multiple-beam interference in 20-nm Ga2O3 optical cavity. Based on the high absorption efficiency and short carrier transmission distance of ultra-thin Ga2O3, an ultra-sensitivity flexible solar-blind photodetector array is developed. The device can execute the functions of imaging, spatial distribution of light source intensity, and realtime light trajectory detection.

Highly dispersed Co-based nanoparticles encapsulated into porous N-doping carbon polyhedral with the low content of Ru modification (LRu@HDCo-NC) are designed through pyrolysis of Co/Zn zeolitic imidazole frameworks (ZIFs) containing Ru-based ligands and used as cathode for lithium (Li)-O2 batteries. LRu@HDCoNC can effectively inhibit side reactions and show superior catalytic performance which makes Li-O2 batteries display high capacity, low overpotential, and long life.

A highly efficient single-atom catalyst Au-SA/FeOOH was facilely synthesized via deposition−precipitation process. The combination of porous metal oxide support and highly active single-atom Au can dramatically promote the activation and fixation of dinitrogen (N2) to achieve a ammonia (NH3) yield of 2,860 μg·h−1·mgAu−1 under ambient conditions.

Hetero-dicationic Mo4+–Mo6+ pairs offer a unique active center to efficiently activate N≡N bond with a lying-down chemisorption configuration through an asymmetrical “π back-donation” process. Operando characterizations using synchrotron-based spectroscopic techniques identified the emergence of a key *N2Hy intermediate on Mo sites during NRR, which indicates that the Mo sites are active sites and the NRR process tends to follow an associative mechanism.

The free-standing and flexible Sb2S3/Ti3C2Tx anodes were fabricated via electrostatic self-assembly for high-performance sodium storage. The Ti3C2Tx MXene improves the charge transfer kinetics, inhibits the volume expansion of Sb2S3 and restrains the shuttling of polysulfides. Meanwhile, the Sb2S3 nanowires act as a capacity sponsor, which also prevent the re-stacking of Ti3C2Tx nanosheets and facilitate ion diffusion within the film electrodes.
