Quantum dots (QDs)/MoS2 structures can be fabricated using a spin-coatingmethod. The dependence of resonance energy transfer from the QDs to MoS2 on the temperature (80−400 K) is investigated by measuring the photoluminescence spectra and decay curves of the QDs and QDs/MoS2 structures.

RuCu nanocages and core–shell structured Cu@Ru nanocrystals were synthesized by a one-pot modified galvanic replacement reaction. These bimetallic Ru–Cu nanocrystals feature fully exposed functional Ru atoms, enabling highly effective regioselective hydrogenation of quinoline toward 1,2,3,4-tetrahydroquinoline.

A novel Si–MoSe2 heterojunction based on solution-processed ultrathin MoSe2 nanosheets was fabricated via a facile dip-coating process. The device exhibited excellent photoresponse characteristics:a response speed up to 30 ns, a linear dynamic range over 124 decibels, and a noise current approaching 0.1 pA·Hz–1/2 at zero bias,which mainly originated from the architecture of the overlapped MoSe2 nanosheet–nanosheet with a modulated energy band edge.

Biocompatible magnetic Fe3O4 nanorods conjugated with tissue plasminogen activator (tPA) (nanorod-tPA) were targeted to blood clots under magnetic guidance. The blood clots could be mechanically pored and loosened by the Fe3O4 nanorods under a rotating magnetic field and lysed biochemically by the tPA released from the nanorods,thus improving the thrombolytic efficiency beyond that currently observed for tPA.

A hybrid structure of 2H-MoS2 with metallic nanowires has been developed for electrocatalytic hydrogen evolution. We investigated the impact of adatoms doping using aluminum(Al) and hafnium (Hf) transition metal for enhancing the thermal stability of few-layer phosphorene. The formation of Al–P covalent bonds was found to significantly improve the thermal coefficients of the Ag1 , B2g, and Ag2 phonon modes by two orders of magnitude compared with those observed for pristine P–P bonds.

We use two kinds of ionic liquids for carbon source. Depending on the ionic liquid, the properties of the sandwich-type ordered mesoporous carbon/graphene nanocomposites is changed such as pore structure, Brunauer–Emmett–Teller (BET) surface area, and electrochemical performance.
