A non-contact cylindrical rotating triboelectric nanogenerator (TENG) was developed for harvesting mechanical energy from hydraulics. Its working mechanism is based on the non-contact free-rotating mode, which eliminates the abrasion of electrode materials. Driven by water flow, this TENG is able to produce sufficiently high electrical energy for powering small electronics.

The synthesized Pt-M nanocubes (Fe, Co, Ni, Zn) showed an improved mass and specific activity compared to Pt/C nanocubes. The specific activity of Pt-M nanocubes were more than 10 times higher than commercial Pt/C.

We report a coordinative and electrostatic interaction assisted selfassembly strategy to synthesize sandwich-like UiO-66@Au25@UiO- 66 nanocomposite. Notably, it displays the significantly enhanced catalytic activity and stability in the selective photocatalytic oxidation sulfide to sulfoxide compared with Au25/UiO-66 and Au25@UiO-66 nanocomposites.

We design a novel β-cyclodextrin (β-CD) polymer with β-CD molecules arranged in an ordered bis (β-CD) assembly for decontamination of bisphenol micropollutants from aquatic systems. The resultant products possess extremely high binding affinity toward bisphenol molecules, hence outperforming conventional adsorbents in elimination of bisphenols micropollutants.

Suppressed threshold voltage roll-off and ambipolar transport are achieved via feed-back gate (FBG) structure in multilayer transition metal dichalcogenide transistors, where source/drain electrodes extend and overlap with Y2O3 dielectric on top of channel. FBG at source in multilayer MoS2 transistor exhibits neglectable threshold voltage (Vth) roll-off and a low drain-induced-barrier-lowering (DIBL) of 84 mV/V, while FBG at drain in multilayer WSe2 transistor could tailor transport from bipolar to unipolar.
