Four LiV3O8 (LVO) nanosheets with different V4+ and oxygen vacancy contents and positions were synthesized. Based on the analysis of the effects of V4+ and oxygen vacancies on the electrochemical properties of LVO, the reasons why oxygen-deficient LVO nanosheets as cathode material of lithium ion batteries have high stability and rate capability were proposed.

We investigate the heat dissipation characteristics of graphene foam devices. While their convective areas are comparable to that of bulk materials, their coefficient of convection is several orders of magnitude higher than that of metals. In addition, due to negligible temperature-induced morphological changes, these devices exhibited reproducible thermal behavior.

A self-targeting hyaluronate nanogel (CDDPHANG/DOX) is developed to reverse drug resistance through the synchronizing pharmacokinetics, enhancing intratumoral accumulation, and intracellular release of topoisomerase II inhibitor doxorubicin (DOX) and DNA-crosslinking agent cisplatin (CDDP), which demonstrates improved antitumor efficacy towards drug-resistant MCF-7/ADR breast cancer along with the visualization of fluorescence imaging of DOX and micro-computed tomography (micro-CT) imaging of CDDP.
