Nano Research is a peer‐reviewed interdisciplinary research journal launched by Tsinghua University Press (TUP) and Springer in 2008. The journal offers a rapid publication route for comprehensive Reviews as well as original research Communications or Full Papers on all aspects of nanoscience and nanotechnology. To recognize outstanding contributions to nano research by an individual scientist, Nano Research, along with Tsinghua University Press (TUP) and Springer, has established an annual “Springer‐TUP Nano Research Award” beginning in 2013.

The award winner will be invited to give a Keynote “Nano Research Lecture” at a selected conference and will receive a prize of US $3,000. The winner’s name and work will be featured in Nano Research and other media by Springer and Tsinghua University Press. The winner will also have the opportunity to publish a feature article on their award‐winning topic in Nano Research.
